The production process and technology of hyaluronic acid determine the difference in quality. Therefore, the product must be produced from the correct source in order to have therapeutic effects. In general, there are three methods for refining:
（1）. Animal tissue: The main raw materials are cockscomb and bovine eye glass. The raw materials are degreased and dehydrated with acetone or ethanol, soaked in distilled water, filtered, and then treated with sodium chloride aqueous solution and chloroform solution, followed by trypsin to obtain a mixed solution. Finally, it is treated with ion exchanger to purify and obtain refined hyaluronic acid. The extraction rate of this method is extremely low, only about 1%, and the separation process is complicated, resulting in expensive hyaluronic acid, reaching USD 5,000/kg, which limits the Large amount of use in cosmetics.
（2）. Microbial fermentation: using glucose as a carbon source fermentation liquid. Fermentation in the medium for 48 hours, after the fermentation is finished, the mycelium and impurities are removed by filtration, and then a high-purity product is obtained by simple operation such as alcohol precipitation. Fermentation is employed. The hyaluronic acid produced by the method has the advantage of being able to set the molecular weight according to the design of the product. The key to the fermentation method is the selection of strains, and the use of streptococci and lactic acid bacteria.
（3）. chemical synthesis: the use of natural enzyme polymerization; first use the polysaccharide polymer to synthesize "hyaluronic acid oxyazacyclopentene derivative", and then add water-decomposing enzyme to produce a complex of derivatives and enzymes, and finally Hyaluronic acid was synthesized by removing the enzyme from the reaction solution at 90 °C. The artificial synthesis method can greatly reduce the manufacturing cost of hyaluronic acid, but the structure is less pure.

·Do not inject intravascularly. As for other injectable medical devices, inadvertent injection into blood vessels could potentially lead to vascular occlusion, ischemia and necrosis. Aspiration prior to injection is recommended.
