Pregnancy Tester

After pregnancy, HCG production begins to increase gradually. HCG usually begins to appear in the second week of pregnancy, and in the third to fourth week of pregnancy, HCG levels increase to a detectable level. Therefore, testing HCG in pregnancy is one of the earliest methods to confirm pregnancy. In short, HCG plays an important role in pregnancy testing, helping women confirm pregnancy and determine whether the pregnancy is progressing normally. Testing HCG can also detect abnormal pregnancy early and protect women's health.

Accuracy: The results of the hCG pregnancy test kit were compared to those of another urine membrane hCG test that is sold commercially in order to assess accuracy. The study included 160 urine specimens, and both assays identified 89 negative and 71 positive results. The results demonstrated more than 99% overall accuracy of the hCG pregnancy test kit when compared to the other urine membrane hCG test.

Sensitivity and Specificity: The hCG pregnancy test kit detects hCG at a concentration of 25mlU/mL or greater. The test has been standardized to the W.H.O. International Standard. The addition of LH (500mlU/mL), FSH (1,000mlU/mL), and TSH (1,00ouIU/mL) to negative (0mlU/mL hCG) and positive (25mlU/mL hCG) specimens showed no cross-reactivity.
