The Canton Fair is one of the largest trade shows in China and the world, bringing together companies and buyers from all over the world. The third phase of the 134th Canton Fair kicked off on Oct 31 with the theme of "Better Life" and will last until Nov 4, with an exhibition area of 515,000 square meters and more than 24,000 booths, a record scale.
The exhibition of the third phase of the Canton Fair includes five major sectors, including toys, maternity, fashion and home textiles. Among them, brand enterprises and brand booths with independent brands and large export scale increased by more than 40% compared with the same period of the previous session.
It is understood that the first phase of the 134th Canton Fair attracted nearly 70,000 buyers from countries building the "Belt and Road", an increase of 65.2% over the same period of the 133rd session. Many exhibitors responded to the "Belt and Road" Initiative and actively expanded emerging markets.
